Free events are always free with no TicketCrest platform fee. Paid events: your first 5 paid events have 0% TicketCrest platform fee. After that, TicketCrest adds a 4.5% platform fee on top of the ticket price, paid by the buyer. Stripe payment processing fees still apply for card payments.

When do organizers get paid?

TicketCrest uses Stripe Connect so paid ticket revenue goes directly to the organizer's connected Stripe account. TicketCrest does not hold your event revenue. Stripe payout timing depends on your Stripe account and bank, but the payment is routed through your Stripe account instead of being held by TicketCrest.

Do I need Stripe to sell paid tickets online?

After a promo code has been used, TicketCrest locks the code and discount settings to protect reporting and attendee trust, but you can still edit future availability, limits, audience restrictions, public visibility, selected ticket types, and expiry date.

Can I delete a promo code after it has been used?

Unused promo codes can be deleted. Used promo codes are archived instead of permanently deleted, which keeps order history, redemption reports, and organizer analytics accurate. Archived promo codes are deactivated so attendees cannot use them for future checkout.

Why does the promo code field disappear for free tickets?

Promo codes only appear when the selected checkout has a paid subtotal. If all selected tickets are free, there is nothing to discount, so TicketCrest hides the promo field to avoid buyer confusion. Promo codes still appear for paid tickets and mixed carts that include paid tickets.

A buyer says payment was taken but no ticket arrived. What should I do?
