Terms of Service

Last updated: May 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using TicketCrest (ticketcrest.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.

2. The service

TicketCrest provides an event ticketing platform that allows event organizers to create events and sell tickets, and attendees to purchase tickets. TicketCrest is a marketplace — we are not the organizer of any events listed on our platform.

3. Organizer responsibilities

Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of all event information, delivering the event as described, issuing refunds in accordance with their stated refund policy, complying with applicable laws (permits, taxes, venue requirements), and maintaining a connected Stripe account in good standing. TicketCrest reserves the right to remove events that violate these terms or that receive credible fraud reports.

4. Attendee responsibilities

Ticket buyers are responsible for verifying event details before purchase, arriving with valid QR ticket (screenshot or live page), understanding the organizer's refund policy before purchasing, and not reselling tickets in violation of organizer terms.

5. Fees

Free events: no fees. Paid events — first 5 events: no platform fee. Paid events 6+: 4.5% platform fee added to the ticket price, paid by the buyer. Stripe payment processing fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) are deducted from the organizer's payout. Fees are subject to change with 30 days notice.

6. Payments and payouts

Payments are processed by Stripe. Organizers receive payouts directly to their connected Stripe account. TicketCrest is not a payment processor and does not hold funds. Organizers are responsible for all tax obligations on revenue received.

7. Refunds

Refund policies are set by event organizers. When an organizer issues a refund through TicketCrest, TicketCrest waives its platform fee where applicable and cancels the refunded ticket QR code. Stripe processing fees may be handled according to Stripe and card-network rules. If an organizer cancels an event, they are responsible for refunding attendees. TicketCrest may, at its discretion, issue refunds in cases of demonstrable fraud.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not: create fake or fraudulent events, resell tickets above face value without organizer permission, use the platform for illegal purposes, attempt to circumvent our security systems, scrape or automate requests to our platform, or impersonate other users or organizations.

9. Limitation of liability

TicketCrest is not liable for event cancellations, changes, or failures by organizers. Our total liability to any user is limited to the fees paid to TicketCrest in the 12 months preceding the claim. We provide the platform "as is" without warranty.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
